- 7-point autofocus - With auto and manual point selection. Modes include one-shot, AI servo and AI focus. Live mode reads the sharpness of a subject right from the imaging sensor for sharper, more detailed pictures.
- Continuous shooting speed - 3 fps with a maximum burst of up to 514 frames to let you get the best high-speed action shots.
- White balance settings - Include auto, daylight, shade, cloudy, tungsten light, white fluorescent light, flash and custom for natural tones in different lighting conditions.
- E-TTL II flash metering system - Uses the same sensor used for exposure metering to measure the area evenly for flash and activates the built-in, pop-up E-TTL II auto flash. Compatible with EX-series Speedlite external flashes (not included).
- Media slot - Supports Secure Digital and Secure Digital High Capacity media (media not included)
- Playback modes - Include 4- or 9-image index, magnified view (approx. 1.5x-10x, enable in 15 steps), rotated image and image jump (by 1/10/100 images or by shooting date).
- USB 2.0 interface and A/V outputs - Easy Print/Share button for fast transfer or printing. Direct-print support with any PictBridge-enabled printer to print photos without a PC. DPOF printing possible.
- Auto power off - Turns the camera off after a selectable period of inactivity up to 15 minutes, conserving battery power.
