When we submit our videos to the contest, do we get the 50 free bids right away or on the 13th?

Hey there! You will get your bids when the contest closes and we pick the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes.

Was wondering if you will be adding Things like maybe a Futon or a Recliner maybe a sofa to your auctions? I know it sounds stupid but the electronics are getting old and boring..lol
How about a Car or a Scooter?
How about 1000 Bid Pack?
Oh and Zid is awesome :-)
reply to comment
Hi Mugzy :) Thanks for your suggestions! We have passed them along to the auctions team. The way it works with product requests is that the more requests we get for the same or similar items, the more this item is considered for auction and then put up on Beezid. If the people want it, we get it!

Hey Ricky, we'll check with the auctions team and will get back to you!

Would Beezid consider offering some sort of "express shipping" option on auctions, for when you win an auction for that really cool item you just can't wait for? Maybe for an additional fee you can get the item shipped to you within 3-5 days or something like that?
I know I've won some things that I've intended to use as Birthday gifts, etc. where I would've paid extra to have it shipped ASAP.
reply to comment
Good day to you sir! We are currently looking into adding this feature in the future. Please keep in mind that there is a 2-3 day processing period once the order is claimed, then shipping occurs after this point. Stay tuned!
reply to comment

It would be awesome if that feature were added! I wouldn't use it all the time, but sometimes you've just gotta have that item right away...

OK, I'll bite... Please tell us how Beezid got it's name?
reply to comment
Any good brand starts with the selection of a unique and identifiable name. Beezid’s name came about through brainstorming session where they stumbled upon a Snoop Dogg-esque ‘Fo Shizzle’ vernacular from the 50’s. In the 50’s, people would speak in a type of slang – Words like cash would be ceezash, win would be weezin, etc. In developing a brand name, our team exhausted all kinds of options; some generic, most laughable and then someone piped up ‘Beezid’ and nobody laughed.

I also would like to know how Beezid got it's name. BUT I think you should have a contest on your facebook page and ask the Beezid community to make some guesses about the origin of the name "Beezid". You know we all love contests!

I would love for them to put up that contest, especially since they've already given the answer here :P
And also please notify me so I can be the first to reply to the contest ;)

Hi Zid. Would you guys ever consider having a section on the blog dedicated to "Product Suggestions for Auctions?" Members could simply submit some of the items they would like to see placed on auction. Enough people suggest the same item, you could consider adding it. Maybe have a pole for people to vote on a weekly basis for a frequently requested item to be added the following week. What do you think?
reply to comment
Hi Phatman! We always welcome suggestions for new products and when we get several requests we consider putting it up for auction. The best way is to discuss it by leaving messages on our Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/TheBeezid :)
reply to comment

Hi Zid. I am new to the Beezid team and I am not sure I understand the "timer". I watch the auction and the timer will start off saying 30 them go to 20 and I keep watching it get down to Going then it seems to start all over again. How does one know when it is really close to the end or how much time is really left. I have spent so many bids and got down to Going only to lose. Please explain so I am a better informaed bidder. Thanks Zid!
reply to comment
Hey there :) First of all we suggest you watch the video tutorial if you haven't already. It takes you through how auctions work, and how the timer works.
The timer resets every time someone places a bid. This replicates the auctioneer in a real auction when he/she says "going...going!..." thus giving someone else a chance to jump in and bid. The auction is won when the timer goes down to 0 and nobody else has placed a bid. For any further questions or help please feel free to call us anytime at 1877-4-BEEZID - we'll be happy to talk to you!

I have heard that there is a .25 extra charge a minute when you bid. Is this true? Is there any extra charges on your bidding besides the bid itself.
Thank You,

Hey Zi, I see all the Visa, Master and AmEx gift cards have been taken down from the site this week? Why? Please don't tell me some new cyber law has forced you guys to stop offering them for auction?

Hi Phatman! In an effort to keep things fresh, we constantly change the products in our auction cycle. Right now we are focusing more on specific gift cards that are in demand. You'll see the others back soon!
reply to comment

I have looked all around the pages and find no place that tell me how much does Beezid charge per bid or whatever.
How much is it??
reply to comment
The cost per bid depends on the bid pack you buy. The smaller the bid pack, the higher the cost per bid. The larger the bid pack, the less each bid costs. There is definitely greater value to you if you buy a larger bid pack. Hope this helps!
reply to comment

I AM ASSUMING IF YOU PURCHASE $30,60 OR SAY A $90 BID BACKAGE THAT IS THE PRICE OF THE PACKAGE. WHAT IS THE COST OF EACH BID? IF YOU PURCHASE LARGER AMOUNTS IN A BID PACKAGE IS THEIR A PRICE BREAK? AND WHERE WOULD I LOOK THIS UP? ALSO DON'T YOU HAVE TO LEAVE AN AMOUNT OF MONEY IN A PURCHASE ACCOUNT TO BID?
reply to comment
Hi there. You are correct, the more bids you buy, the lower the cost per bid. To find out how much your bids cost, divide the amount of bids by the cost. You need bids in your Beezid account in order to bid in an auction.
reply to comment

Hey Zid,
How about adding some action figures to beezid.com. Not stuff you can buy for 13.99 or anything; I'm talking about action figures that are extremely detailed that cost a pretty penny. Those kinds would be awesome to bid for on beezid.com. What do you think Zid?

Hi Zid, I really love your site, and many of the items you offer on auction, but... I hate this "Max wins of 10" rule during a 28 day period. I do understand why you guys have implemented such a restriction, but I hate when I have to wait 7 to 10 days to bid again on a "Green" auction and I see great new items like the iPhone, Back to School package etc... pop up and I can't even bid on them.
Wish their was an extra auction added that would allow someone to reset/clear their "Auction Limits" 28 day calendar. This could be a "Red" auction, for in my eyes it's much bigger than winning a car.
Are you guys even considering anything like that? Something to keep bidders like myself visiting the site during this down time.

Thanks for your comment. We always listen and take everything into consideration. We shall forward this suggestion to our auctions team!

hi how do i put a item up for auction on the website
reply to comment
Hi there. You can't put items up for auction on the site. All items are selected by our Auctions team and are brand new, factory sealed goods. If you have something you want to put up for auction online, we suggest trying eBay.com!
reply to comment

I just wanted to agree with Phatman that there should be different classes for the prizes. A DVD/Blu-Ray or $25 gift card should not be in the same green category as Laptops, 37" televisions, Ipads, Iphones, and other higher end products. This would allow people to continue to bid on small items and larger ones.

How and why is shipping 6.99 for a gift card that is sent in an envelope? And if I win two gift cards close together and they are shipped in the SAME envelope, then why do I have to pay two separate shipping charges?
reply to comment
Good question! The shipping rates on most items are standardized, meaning that even when it costs us more (for example, to ship to Alaska or Puerto Rico or Hawaii) we pay the extra cost. For Gift Cards, there are activation fees (which we do not transmit onto the winner of the auction) and the shipping cost is determined by our supplier. All in all, the Winner is still saving money. You've won plenty of them, so you definitely know! :)

Thank you.

Hey Zid thanks again for the great info and help. I was wondering if you will be offering the 200 bid packs more frequently again? If not every 20 minuets like before, how about every hour? What was the reason for the change in the first place?

It seems that "buying bids" can be costly and may not get you anything in return. If I use a 50 bid pack in one single auction and don't win, how is this beneficial for me to bid at all?
reply to comment
The idea of Penny Auctions is to pay less than the retail cost for items, and that should include the price of bids. It is very important to have a strategy and not to just bid randomly. If you look at the Closed Auctions, you will see that many people win with just a few bids that were strategically placed :)

how does sniper work
reply to comment
Snipers work by placing a bid at the last second of an auction in order to keep it going if it has not yet reached the range that you have set your autobeezids to bid within. Here is some useful info about Autobeezids and Snipers http://www.beezid.com/help/bidding/what-ar...and-beezid-sniper . For any other questions, you can contact Customer Support at 1-877-423-3943.

Hi Zid,
Way cool site, altho I'm still in the watching/learning/observing mode I have a couple questions/requests.
It seems that the uhhhh "good stuff" (big size tv's, camcorders etc.) are offered up for auction primarily on weekends and not on weekdays.
What about us poor slobs that have to work on Sat.Sun. swing shifts and can't bid during these times? How about adding more premium items during the weekdays and very late weekday nite hours? Puleeeeze!
Item suggestions to pass on for you:
Premium quality binoculars (sports)
More variety in camcorders and premium digital cameras (Nikon)
Thanks

Thanks so much for your Feedback! We do have some great items during the week, especially the big TVs! Check out Future Auctions to see what will be coming up! :)

Why is it called "Beezid"?
reply to comment
This has actually been answered above but it's a cool story so I'll say it again! :)

I was watching some tv auctions. I noticed info at end of a particular auction said 38 bids. I also saw the bid history had 2 people alternating bids.
I have 3 questions.
In this case would 38 be total bids on the tv or total bids the winner made?
With all the possible people bidding on one item, how can it end with only 2 people bidding for it?
It seems to me there would be many times several bidders may bid exactly the same time. Who decides the winner or who gets the bid?
reply to comment
You have some very good questions.
At the end of an auction, if you see 38 bids, that's the amount of bids that the winner spent to win the item.
Every time someone bids, the timer resets and allows some time (usually about 20 seconds) for someone else to bid. The auction ends when that time can go by without anyone outbidding the last bidder.
In the case you are mentioning, everyone had stopped bidding except those 2 names. Eventually, the second person on the list stopped also, and the winner was determined.
I hope this clarifies things! If not, please contact Customer Support at 1-877-423-3943 and they can help :)
reply to comment

If each bid is 1 cent then I would assume an item selling for $1 had 100 bids...but when looking at the savings chart it seeems that the number of placed bids is listed as much lower ie:42 placed bids..9 free bids etc...how is this calculated?
reply to comment
You are right that if the item sells for $1, there were 100 bids placed. The number that you are seeing for "Placed bids" is the amount of bids that the winner placed. This information in helping you to formulate a strategy :)
Hope this helped!
reply to comment

How often do you replace an idea? Say am looking for a camera and I happen to miss is. When is the next time you put the same one or one just like it up? I also have another question do you guys put the same item up at the same time because as a suggestion for tips it says timing is everything but it seems like all the big electronic only come up in the middle of the day when most people are on. Just wondering
reply to comment
Similar items come up all the time. There is no particular time of day for any particular item. Check the Future Auctions list and you may see the same item come up twice in the same day, or the next day :) Whatever you missed, it will be back!

Have you ever thought about putting a live chat are on the page with the bids? It would be great to chat with the other bidders.

It is an interesting idea and we have definitely thought about. Stay tuned for any changes :)
reply to comment

I'm not sure I even understand how this works. Can you explain it ALL to me? When a bid is placed and if you don't win, do you lose the money you bid?
reply to comment
The best way to understand it all, if you have already looked over our very informative Help Section, is to contact our Customer Support at 1-877-423-3943. They can definitely explain it all, and give you some great Tips. To answer your question, the final price is determined by the collective bidding, so win or lose, you do not get the bids that you placed back. Check out plenty of info here : http://www.beezid.com/help

I was checking recently sold items, and clicked on recently sold, it keeps sending me back to the current Auction.

The only reason that would happen is if this is only the first or second time that the item has been up for auction. There would be no reference for the "recently sold" price. You can definitely call Customer Support at 1-877-423-3943 in order for them to look into any specific auction that you are interested in.

i have a question. how can these products be offered at such a low price. i mean lets face it, even buying in bulk can be expensive so how can these items be sold for such low prices?
reply to comment
The pricing on Penny Auctions is based on the Collective Bidding. You have to purchase the bids and you have to formulate a strategy in order to use the smallest amount of bids to win an item. It's very important to read the Help Section carefully and watch the auctions before jumping in. Call Customer Support for some great Tips and Strategies :) 1-877-423-3943

How does bonus code "black" work? Do you get double bids on that bid pack purchase or the next bid back purchase after you enter the code? I entered the code and didn't see anything change on the bid total.
reply to comment
You have to enter the code and the next time you buy bids, you have to select that code from your bonus offers to apply it to that purchase :)
If you need any help, call Customer Support at 1-877-423-3943 and they can go through the process with you!

Since it's close to the Holidays, how about offering bidders the opportunity to choose the gift card they want? IE "200.00 gift card of your choice" and upon checkout they could pick which one they want...

That is a good idea! Stay tuned!
reply to comment

Question???? Why would a customer have to pay you to bid on a product and then in return still have to pay for the product if the bid is won? Maybe in the future I might do this, but not at the present moment. Dont see myself paying to bid on something that I may want?
reply to comment
The concept of Penny Auctions is based on the collective Bidding. You do pay to bid but the price of the item remains very very low. For example, if you look at the Auction that just ended for a Nintendo Wii ( http://www.beezid.com/auctions/video-games...wii-bundle/156861 ) you will see that the winner placed 2 bids, valued at $1.20 and won the item for $6.22 and paid $14.99 for shipping. In total, the winner paid $22.41 for an item valued at $199.99. Makes sense right? :)

This is how money is made. Thats why Beezid explains using strategy, so you get bargains.

The 10 free bids for registering is misleading. False, actually. They only apply to Cherry Auctions, which amount to 2 auctions. It's hard to trust a company with business practices like these. Will you consider changing this to either 10 free legitimate bids or no bids at all?
reply to comment
Welcome to Beezid! The 10 free bids are legitimate bids Michael. The Cherry Auctions are just like the other auctions except that they are only available to newbies so they are much easier to win since you are not going up against experienced bidders! :) They are a great way to try the site out! We've also added 10 Regular bids to your account :) How's that for business practices? ;)
Read over the Help Section carefully and take the time to watch the auctions and familiarize yourself before jumping in and buying bids...Once you do, you'll be winning in no time :)

where are the cherry auctions?

They are among all the Regular Auctions! Just look for the Cherry Logo right beside them :) If you're still having trouble, please contact Customer Support at 1-877-423-3943

Green Locks 6 wins in 28 days now? That's nothing! You should have kept it the way it was with 10, along with the new purple lock!

If you win 6 Green locks and 4 purple locks in 28 days, you're still doing very well! The number of items will be the same, just in different price ranges :)

Hi,
As a newbie I am having a very hard time competing against all the powerbidders. Anyway, I have some suggestions that might help new people win without taking anything away from the powerbidders:
1. Make a new lock category - say yellow. Keep the current lock system as it is but also add items from all other color locks into the new category (1000 bid packs, tvs, cameras, kindles, ipods etc). Limit this lock win to 1 per 56 days (like the red locks). Hopefully, the power bidders will concentrate on the higher end items and the other people will have a shot at winning the other items.
reply to comment

Suggestion 2:
Expand the cherry auctions to include auctions of every color lock (ie only people who have never won a blue lock auction can participate in a cherry blue lock auction)
reply to comment

Suggestion 3:
Have coinciding regular and thrill auctions for the same items. For example, have a regular auction for a kindle while having a thrill auction for a kindle. The more experienced people can duke it out on the regular auction while less experienced people can get a shot at the same item on the thrill auction.
reply to comment
Thanks for the suggestions! They are always appreciated! :)

After bidding a certian amount, are you eligible to purchase the item for the remaining amount (plus what you have already paid in bids)?
reply to comment
There is no Buy It Now feature currently on the site but stay tuned! :) Keep using great strategies to win items without spending too many bids!
reply to comment

if a bidder wins two different blue lock auctions in a 28 day period, can he/she still bid up on a third blue lock auction? I can be more specific if necessary. Also, the lock limits start/finish after the limit is reached? So if you win say your second blue lock item on Dec. 1, then he/she can win again on Dec. 29? Or will it be Dec. 30. I look forward to you response.
reply to comment
The auction limits on Blue Locks last for 28 days. Look at it this way, if you win a blue lock, you have one open slot left. The initial blue lock that you won will become available again 28 days (accurate to the minute) after the auction was won. For example, if you win a blue lock on Dec 1st at 5pm, a blue lock slot will become available again on 29th at 5pm. If both slots are taken by blue lock wins, you will not be able to bid on any blue lock item until one is available again, 28 days after the time of the first blue lock auction win. :) Hope this helps, and for any further explanation call 1-877-423-3943!

Thanks Zid for the reply. I am clear on this issue now. Next question..
Why does the auction counter occasionally double bid the auction? For instance, the Autobid was on during an auction and the counter registered $6.36 and again $6.36 with no bidders in between. Was I charged for 2 bids? I have seen this not only with me, but with others also. Again, thanks for the reply.
reply to comment
What you are seeing might just be your browser refreshing. If the price didn't go up and no bidder name appeared you definitely didn't lose 2 bids. You can confirm this by going into My Account and then My Bid History to confirm how each of your bids were placed! :)

thanks Zid!

Hi, my account shows expirable bids. What does that mean? When do they expire?
reply to comment
Promo bids are expirable. Usually they expire 14 days after they are credited to your account. Those are automatically used before your Regular Bids though to avoid them expiring without you using them :)

My promo bids expire in 24 hours. Hardly enough time to get to know how to use the site!

why isn't the autobeezid working for me? Say I fill in the details with a 2 to start, and put in a number a few dollars above the current price, and say 20 bids. Well, my bids just disappear never to be seen again, and my bids are all applied automatically... right then. What am I doing wrong here?
reply to comment
You can read more about the Autobeezid function here: http://www.beezid.com/help/features-functions and you can see how each one of your bids were placed by going into My Account and My Bid History. Each time someone places a bid, your autobeezid will outbid them. If someone else set an autobeezid within the same range as you, your bids might go up against each other quickly. If you have any further questions, please contact Customer Support at 1-877-423-3943 :)

Why are there no more "Thriller" auctions? I like to play and have won 1 small auction awhile ago. I get very frustrated when I am bidding and then someone "auto-bids". I know this is how the game works, but a lot of us can not compete. How about more "Thriller auctions on at least the smaller, less expensive items. I agree with the lock system as it is. It gives the rest of us at least some chance of winning.

still checking out the site i've looked at some of the histories and it says for example they placed 118 bids at an average cost of .21 cents a bid. why so cheap.how many bids would you hav to buy.or do you does the price if bids go down after so many
reply to comment
There are a few ways to reduce your cost per bid. The first way is to win your bidpacks in auctions. For example, yesterday, someone won a 1000 bidpack for $ 0.55, which greatly reduces the average of your bid costs. Also, we have tons of Contests for free bids on our Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/thebeezid )
You can also take advantage of the promotions that we have from time to time (usually sent out via email) :) Hope this helps!

I first heard about beezid from a friend of mine who mentioned that even if you lose an auction, you're still able to purchase the item from beezid at the full retail price minus the cost of the bids that you spend on the auction. I've been looking at the site for awhile and don't seem to see that confirmed anywhere. Is what she told me true and if so could you direct me to the url where it explains the process and if not do you know what she might have been referring to?
Thank you

I'm happy to hear that your friend referred you to Beezid but he/she was mistaken about the Buy It Now function. That's why you couldn't find it explained on the site. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call Customer Support at 1-877-423-3943 :)

Hi Zid
Anything further on not counting a bid pack as a first win? Love to bid on a cherry auction! I was not aware that bidpacks counted as a first win, and so I'm still looking for my first product win, lol.
thanks, daryle.
reply to comment
Hi Daryle!
At the moment, Bidpacks will remain a lock for the cherry auctions because many people have requested to have them as Cherry Auctions in order to be able to get more Bids to try out the site without having to buy a bidpack. They then go on to win items using those bids, so it wouldn't be fair to anyone to not have them count as a lock.

What happened to the reveal auctions? They sounded really interesting so I wanted to try to bid on one, but I haven't seen any during the last three months I've been using beezid.
Also, when will more Starbucks gift cards go up for auction?
Thanks,

The Reveal Auctions were paused so that we can work on some different interesting features that will be coming up soon!
As for the Starbucks cards, they are currently up from time to time for Cherry Auctions but if you'd like, maybe we can add some for Regular Auctions :)

One more question, once we win the items, are we allowed to resell them? Or can we only keep them, and not sell them to family and friends?
reply to comment
Here is what our Terms and Conditions state: Beezid™'s products and services are offered exclusively to private users and not to commercial or partly-commercial resellers. Beezid™ reserves the right to exclude anyone it has reason to believe is such a commercial reseller from participation in auctions and to close their user accounts at any time.
Once the item is yours, you can give it or sell it to friends and family but you cannot make a business from selling items that you win.
Hope this helps :)

Greetings - Am am currently bidding during this Easter Holiday Bidding spree. I love getting the bids back. Thanks a mill. However, it is sooooo boring with everyone using autobeezid. I did a few and just found it boring. I even nodded off quite a few times. There is absolutely no excitement in watching the words "AUTOBEEZID" scroll down.
Please, please, please consider setting up some games where the AUTOBEEZID feature cannot be used so we can stay engaged and have fun.
Here's to a better future for these games.
reply to comment
Thanks for the Feedback! :)
We do have some thriller auctions where Autobeezids are disabled.
However, the autobeezid is a huge part of many successful strategies. Most beezidders will tell you that they do not set their autobeezids and walk away from the auction. They watch the auction, adapt the number of bids and the range, cancel them and reset. It can be a lot more exciting to see the strategy that they are using than you realize ;)
reply to comment

if u use autobeezid function and cancel it does it subtact bids? if auto is engaged and auction ends before it is activated does it still subtact from your totals can u cancel sniper if it hasnt engaged yet and change amounts and still get back in w/sniper? rules were not as clear.
reply to comment
So many questions! Here it goes!
No, no, yes, yes.
If you cancel your autobeezid, bids are not deducted. If the range that you set is too high and is never reached, your bids will be returned to you.
You can cancel your sniper, as long as not one single sniper was placed.
Hope this helps :) If you have any other questions, give Customer Support a call at 1-877-423-3943

I have noticed that some of the bid prices stop at a certain price and do not increase. What's up with that?
reply to comment
That is simply because we were having a promo event (which you can read more about here: http://www.beezid.com/help/special-events/4th-of-july-frenzy ) and during these events, we cap the prices at 25% of the retail cost, ensuring a savings of 75-99% off!

I have commented twice (on 7/4 and on 7/11) with a bunch of suggestions on making the Holiday promo period better for most of the Beezid population.
I think there was some good stuff in these messages, and worthy of discussion with other members.
But I can not find either one posted.
Please advise.

Hi there!
We would love to hear your comments but this is the first one we seem to have received from you...
We have searched the system and none are pending moderation. We want to hear what your suggestions are, maybe you can repost them as a commment here? Thanks!
reply to comment

The basic idea was that the Holiday promos tout "spread the winning around" and "create a frenzy", when in fact, it is not appealing for most of your members because the big boys completely dominate the auctions and so many others can not compete.
On July 4, many auctions went on for many hours, or even all day, as the huge bid hoarders used autobids of 5,000, 10,000 or more against each other. One member won several July 4 auctions, in spite of the locks.
I suggested limiting the runoff time after the cap is reached, making the first member to reach the cap the winner, limiting the number of bids anyone can use in one auction, randomly varying the cap (10%, 25%, etc), not returning all the bids, having auction levels where the big boys only can play or they can not play, not allowing autobids, allowing only one win per member in the promo period, and a few more that I dont recall any longer.
Today there was an example of a similar This morning an auction for a $200 gift card closed at over $1000 because the big boys fired off their multi-thousand autobids, and it went on for several hours.
Why do they do this, what is their logic?
Are they just playing chicken against each other? It really is not pretty and little guys like me, and probably most Beezid members, can just watch in disbelief.
Anyway, the hope is to make the site and the Holiday promos fair and more appealing for the other 90% of members who dont have thousands upon thousands of bids.
I also hope to get feedback on my suggestions and prompt more ideas from other Beezid members about how to treat these, and other similar issues they might have.
Thanks for your attention.

Thanks for your Feedback, it's always appreciated :)
We have some new ideas coming up and hopefully you will like the changes :)

Zid, things did not change! In this "Fall into savings" promo had me feeling left out and the average user out in the cold. In this promo all the big boys won 99% of all the sales. In the last sale that completed the big boys bid over 36000 bids. In the first 5 hours unknownmember and combatvet85 won 5 bids each in the "Fall into savings" promo, and the rest of the big boys and those 2 just mentioned cleaned up the rest. This was done in part 1 of the promo. Is there a was to help us little guys?
BigDave24
reply to comment

BigDave24:
Yes, those 2 power bidders (combatvet68) won their maximum locks early on so it gave us 'little guys' the rest of the promo to have great fun. Hope you looked through the closed auctions at the end of the promo. There were many, many 'little guy' winners. You just have to know who you're up against and when it's the best time to bid.
They have many bids back promos throughout the year. If you join in these each time, you're bound to get better and better at it.
Keep an open mind about this and just sit back and have fun with it. No one can win them all!
reply to comment

just want to know.. if you dont win the bid you cant get your bid back??? so its a waste of money?
reply to comment
It's definitely not a waste. You simply have to place your bids strategically to ensure that are you are contributing towards your own win more often than to that of other users! For some great tips and strategies, give Customer Support a call at 1-877-423-3943 and they can tell you how to place the lowest amount of bids to win! :)
reply to comment

How long do you have before your bids that you purchased expire?

Bids from a bidpack purchase do not expire. However, Promo Bids do have an expiration date. They will last 7 or sometimes 14 days. Check My Account for more info on those Promo Bids :)

As per our Terms and Conditions, we ask that you allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of your item. Looking into your account, I see that you won your item on August 6th and it was delivered today, August 16th. reply to comment

Say if theres a bid on something for $90 and i add a bid and lose will i still have to pay what i bid?
reply to comment
I'm not sure that I fully understand your question but I will answer it as best I can! When you add a bid to an auction and lose, you don't pay for the final auction price, you simply lose the bids that you placed in that auction. The idea is to win the auction using the smallest amount of bids possible :) If that wasn't what you were asking, give customer support a call at 1-877-423-3943 and they can clarify :)
reply to comment

It appears that when Autobeezid
is running on an auction, that bidder will win that auction.
Or when another Autobeezid joins that
auction they seem to gobble each other up until one runs out of bids.
reply to comment
Autobeezids are definitely part of a great and effective strategy! However, having one on doesn't mean that the user will automatically win. If you go through the Closed Auctions, you will notice that many of them were won without the autobeezid also! Some powerbidders will take advantage of all of the double-up promos that become available right before an event and focus on winning the large bidpacks (1000, 2000, 5000) to increase their bidbanks.

I will definitely suggest it to our products/ auction management team!

Just curious why the auction limits won per 28 days has been taken away? Guys with 40,000 bids winning 20-30 auctions a week sure doesnt seem fair. Call me a poor loser, but everyone will get tired of getting run over by them and thats all you will have left.

The Auction Limits haven't been taken away! They are still in effect, there is simply a new lock color! Check out all the details here:

reply to comment
Yes, that would work :) Just make sure to register the card online to avoid any complications! Welcome!

OK, I'm relatively new to this scene, but it seems to me that when you have a frozen price and bids back on an item you should limit the number of autobids allowed. Not doing so permits hours of boredom while you watch the same person autobid their way to the top.

Having a large Bidbank definitely helps, but it's all about timing! Looking at the Closed Auctions you will notice plenty of winners that are not the 3 named above that are winning auctions with a reasonable amount of Bids! Keep watching and developing your strategy! Don't give up :)

Hey Zid, I've been a member for almost a year now and have constantly wondered about the cars up for auction. Every time I check them, they are still on "standby" so I was just wondering when they will be starting the auction for the first car. Thanks!
reply to comment
Did you vote for the Car that you would like to see up for auction? We are waiting to get enough votes in the "Pick your Ride" event and then you will see the winner up for auction :)
reply to comment

Yes, I voted for the Camaro. By the way, which car has the most votes so far?

Why do you have to buy bids to bid on somthing its like you are paying extra for the product you want
reply to comment
In fact, you could spend quite a bit less than retail. Check out this page for all of the details. Enjoy! http://www.beezid.com/help

i to have noticed same people winning the large items ive won my share of smaller items but would like to see a better way of making winners more diversified across the board love the site
reply to comment
We are always looking for new ways to make sure that we have as many winners as possible. That's why there are Auction limits! :) http://www.beezid.com/help/auctions/auction-limits

Any thoughts about new categories of auctions to those of us that don't have 1000s of bids? We see the same power bidders winning all the time.
Or how about disallowing or limiting the number of total autobeezids that can be used for a day/week/month? I'm not seeing many new people staying on and buying more bids after the holiday promotions - and it IS much harder to win now with all the pink locks/24 hr limits and powerbidders.
reply to comment
Thanks for the Feedback! Auction limits are still in place to avoid having the same winners win all the auctions. It's important, if you have a smaller bidbank, to keep track of when the powerbidders are locked out and then it's all about timing! :)

Just following up on PJW1823's comments. Any specifics on the car auction yet (what & when)? I voted for the GMC.
reply to comment
No specifics yet but you will definitely hear about it soon!
The GMC is a great choice!

Hi Zid!
just wondering what I can use bonus bids on?
reply to comment
You can use your Bonus Bids on anything. They work at a 5:1 ratio with your Regular Bids. For every 5 Regular Bids placed, one Bonus Bid will turn into a Regular Bid. Check out some info here: http://www.beezid.com/help/bidding/bid-types

If you lose bidding on an item,do you get your bids back?
reply to comment
All Bids placed are deducted from your account, win or lose the auction. We do have promotions where Bids are returned but unless that is specified, bids are not returned. Bid strategically :)
reply to comment

I'm wondering about the autobeezids. If you set your price parameters high and it never gets there do you lose the bidpoints event though they are never actually placed? Also, if you DO hit the price parameters and have allowed say 100 autobeezids but win on the 40th... do you lose the remaining 60 even though they were never actually placed?
reply to comment
You will never lose any bids that haven't been placed. If your range is never met, all bids will be returned and if you had to use less than your maximum to win, you get all the remaining bids back! :)

Hey Zid, is it common to take a long time to deliver items after they are paid for. I understand 2-3 days processing then the item is shipped, well if it is shipped shouldn't we receive a confirmation email? It has been 21 days and I have not heard anything yet? Just seems like delivery times are longer on this bidding site than any other. Thanks
reply to comment
As per our Terms and Conditions, we ask that you allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of your item. Since it has been 21 days already, we definitely recommend contacting Customer Support (support@beezid.com or 1-877-423-3943)with your auction ID and we will track down that item for you! As soon as a tracking number is provided by our supplier, it is added to your account. Often, you will receive your item before tracking info is even available :) If you have any other inquiries, give us a call!

Not sure if this has already been asked but is there some special type of calendar for promotional bid dates like "March Madness"?
reply to comment
That's actually a very good question! There is no specific calender, but you can be sure that we announce these events a few weeks in advance to make sure everyone has a chance to prepare for them! We don't let any events go uncelebrated ;)

How do I use my bonus bids?
reply to comment
Your Bonus Bids are used at a 5:1 Ratio. For every 5 Regular Bids used, one of your Bonus Bids will become a Regular Bid! This allows your Regular Bids to last longer! Check out more info here: http://www.beezid.com/help/bidding/bid-types

Im new to this and I am just curious. Everyone bidding on these items is a real person correct? I mean how do we know some computer program isnt behind this bidding up the bids and these prizes are actually being won... Im not trying to be rude. I just am new to all this auction stuff.
reply to comment
Welcome!!! We can assure you that everyone bidding is indeed real. You can see some winners, along with their testimonials here: http://www.beezid.com/auction-winners Also, you can check out our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TheBeezid where members are often discussing their wins, auctions they've participated in, etc. Beezid is the most trusted Penny Auction Site in the industry and we wouldn't do anything to tarnish that reputation :)

What does the Remind Me spot mean? Is there a waiting period before that item is on the auction?
reply to comment

Quick question, if u spend lots of bids on an item and still lose do u still get to buy the item at a discounted price?
reply to comment
Beezid does not currently have a Buy It Now feature, which we believe enhances the competitive nature of the auctions. Bid strategically! :)
reply to comment

hy zid, how long can i expect to wait on getting my bids back on a all bids back win or lose turbo auction?
reply to comment
Bids are returned the moment the auction ends :)
reply to comment

how long do 16 second auctions last?
reply to comment
Auctions last until there is only 1 bidder left. The entire 16 seconds (in this case) must go by without someone outbidding the last bidder. That's when there is a winner!
