At Beezid, we do our best to ensure that all of our members have an equal opportunity to win! One of the ways we make certain of this is by limiting the number of auctions any single user can win in any given period. Sometimes by day, week, month, or even more.
To make it easy, each standard lock is represented by a color. There are additional locks for special events that don’t count toward your regular limits (See “Promo Locks,” below).
You can strategically bid on more auctions than you are able to win in order to increase your possibilities of a successful outcome, as long as you haven’t already reached your cap when you place the bids.
For example, if you have 3 auctions left, you could still be bidding on 4, 5, 6, or more. But once you have won any 3 of those auctions, you won’t be able to bid again until one of your Locks opens up. On the other hand, if you happen to win all of these auctions at once, you will be able to claim them, despite being over the limit of 3.
When you are logged in, you can quickly view your auction limits from the top bar, or see them in more detail in the My Account section.
You can access your Auction Limits from the pop up shown above, or through the My Account > My Auction Limits link.
Each Lock type has different limits and win periods.
Single-Level Locks are simple and straightforward: you can win a set number of auctions at any point within the indicated period. Purple Locks, for example, allow 4 wins in 28 days. You can claim one of them per week, or all four on the same day.
Multi-Level Locks have additional restrictions on how many of your monthly wins you can get in a single day or week. For instance, Cream Locks allow 12 wins in a 28 day period, but you can only win one of them per day. That means if you win a Cream auction on Monday, you’ll still have 11 wins left for the month, but you won’t be able to get another until Tuesday.
During our special events, we want to make sure everybody gets to participate, even if your Locks are maxed out. So whenever there’s a holiday or a promotion, you’ll see Locks with special colors (like Gold, Silver or Bronze). These Locks have their own limits, and don’t count against your regular Lock wins. For more information on Promo Locks, see Auction Types.

Members can also remove Locks by winning special auctions called Lock Breakers. Lock Breakers let you bid and win in auctions you were previously locked out of.
