Where do I start?

In order to start bidding right away, you'll need to register an account and purchase some bids, available in the bid package of your choice. After that, all you need to do is pick an auction that features an item you'd like to have and start bidding!

How much do bids cost?

We offer several different bid packages to meet your individual needs. The cost for each bid will vary based on the package you choose. The more bids you buy, the cheaper it gets for each bid!
To view all of our Bid Packs, click Buy Bids.

How does Beezid work?

Beezid is your number one source for exciting auction shopping and absolutely unbelievable deals on brand new, brand name products, every day! This is how it works: To begin, you must first register and buy bids. The price per bid will vary depending on the Bid Pack you choose. Next you'll need to pick the item you're interested in and start bidding. You can either place a single bid at a time or use our AutoBeezid feature.

Once you place a bid, three (3) things will happen:
  1. The price of the item goes up by a penny (depending on the auction type)
  2. The timer resets itself to allow other users to place a bid; similar to a physical auction where the host yells: "Going Once, Going Twice… Sold!"
  3. You are now the highest bidder. If it stays that way once the timer runs out, you win the auction!

How can I register using Facebook Connect? *COMING SOON*

If you'd like to avoid having to create a separate user ID and password for our site, we've made it simple for you. As long as you are a registered Facebook user, you can skip our conventional registration process and simply login using your Facebook username and password. Just click on this button and follow the steps. You can even invite your friends to join and get paid in Bids!

I've registered but haven't received a confirmation email. What should I do?

Depending on the email provider that you're using, it can take a few minutes longer to receive the confirmation email. You should verify the address you provided us when you registered (located in My Info) to make sure that it's accurate. Occasionally, some email services have a filter. Check your Spam folder as you may have to add the address to your Safe List.
If you're still having trouble receiving the email or if you'd like to change the email address used in registration, contact our Support Team and we'll take it from there.

What are the AutoBeezid and Beezid Sniper? How do they work?

The AUTOBEEZID is a useful tool if you are away from Beezid.com but don't want to miss out on the action. This feature also allows you to keep focused on a specific auction while letting the AUTOBEEZID take care of some of the other ones. It's easy to use and is a very effective way to win auctions. Select the auction you would like to bid on, click on the auction title or image to access the Details Page and look for the AUTOBEEZID box on the right hand side.

Choose the amount of bids you'd like to place with a minimum of two (2), select your price range to bid on and click the BOOK button. When choosing the price range, keep in mind that the difference in price has to be at least one dollar. At any time, you can monitor your scheduled AUTOBEEZIDs by clicking on My AutoBeezids located in your My Account page.

We have also added a safety net feature for you: our exclusive 'Beezid Sniper'. The Beezid Sniper acts as a safety measure for you if the price range you have set your Autobeezid to bid within doesn't get there. The Beezid Sniper will allow you to set a number of last second bids assuring that you don't miss out on the product that you set your Autobeezid for if your price range is never achieved.

Now you're free to be away from your computer while we do the work for you!

How does the Reveal Auction work?

Beezid's exciting 'Reveal' auctions work on a descending price scale and include an option to buy the item once the price has hit its sweet spot.

Here's how it works: an item is placed up for auction, but unlike penny auctions, there are no timers and the prices will not increase by a pre-determined amount, rather, they decrease!

The price of the item is hidden above the 'REVEAL' button and begins at a pre-determined discounted amount ranging from 10-40% off the retail. In order to see where the price of the item currently is, click the Reveal button. Once the Reveal button is clicked, it costs you a bid from your account, the price drops down by a specific amount (usually 20 cents) and the new price is revealed to you for 5 seconds. If the item has hit its selling price range, a 'BUY NOW' button will appear for 5 seconds and you can buy the item at its current price or decline and wait for the price to be driven down further. The price will continue to drop as users click the Reveal button until it reaches zero dollars. Once someone selects the 'buy it now' feature, the auction is over and the item is sold at the last price revealed by the last bidder. For a great overview of Reveal auctions, check out the video tutorial.

Are all the auctioned items brand new?

All of our products are brand new, from the brand names you trust and come with the full manufacturer's warranty. They are shipped directly from our suppliers, right to your door.

When do the items get shipped?

Once you've won an auction, the next step is to claim and pay for your item. As soon as payment has been received, your item is then shipped directly to your door.

What is Mega View?

When viewing auctions on Beezid.com, you'll notice that they appear in different layouts and views: Regular view, Easy view and Mega view. In each of these views, you can customize the look of your page by using our exclusive Drag & Drop feature to move the auctions around, allowing YOU to prioritize the auctions you want to keep focused on.

If you're an advanced user following multiple auctions, choose Mega View and a second page will open with dozens of auctions for you to follow, while still allowing you to return to the original page you were viewing. To exit the Mega View and return to your original page, simply click the X-CLOSE bar at the top of the page.

Do you offer any tips on how to bid?

In several areas of the site, you'll find our Tips & Strategies box. Once you are logged in, you can view them by clicking '2' in the 1-2 box at the top left hand side when you click the Home tab. You can also find them in our Help Section by clicking Tips & Strategies, in the menu on your left. Keep in mind these are meant to help you get familiarized with our site, bidding and to develop strategy, they do not provide any guarantees of winning an auction.

How can I buy bids?

In order to purchase bids, you must first register or be logged in. Once logged in, click on the Buy Bids tab, one of the four main tabs at the top of your page. You will be able to choose from one of our Bid Packs. Click the 'Buy Bids' button and proceed to the Secure Checkout area.

Is there a way to see how many bids I've purchased / placed?

You can see a complete history of all your transactions, including the bids you've placed on auctions and the Bid Packs you've purchased, by clicking on My History in the My Account page.

Bid Types

When viewing My Bid Account, you'll notice that your bid balance is broken down into
3 different types of bids: Regular, Bonus or Free.

- Regular Bids: This is the most common type of bid found on the site. This bid type is applied to bids purchased in the form of a bid pack, bids won in auction (as an item) and in promotional offers such as referring a friend. There are no restrictions on regular bids as they can used on any auction available on Beezid.com.

- Bonus Bids: These bids are usually given during promotional offers such as "100% Extra Bids when purchasing a Bid Pack". Bonus bids are dropped into your regular account at a 5-1 ratio to become regular bids. What this means is that for every 5 bids spent, 1 bonus bid is converted to a regular bid, available for use on any auction type.

- Free Bids: The only time you will ever get free bids is when you register and get your first 3 Free Bids. They can be used on every auction type, such as Thriller or Cherry, except for Reveal auctions. Free bids are given to try out Beezid.com and expire 1 hour after you've registered.

Remember, you can see the current balance of regular and bonus bids in your account on the top bar when logged in. To get a breakdown of all bid types, select My Bid Account from the My Account page.

When bidding on Beezid.com, all members are subject to Beezid's Terms & Conditions.

Can I see who else is bidding on an auction?

When bidding on an auction through the details page of the item, you will be able to view the last ten bids that were placed, including the names of the members placing them. You will also be able to see what type of bid was placed, whether a SINGLE bid, an AUTOBEEZID or a SNIPER.

If I placed a bid, shouldn't I be the highest bidder?

Depending on the type of auction you are bidding on, some may be moving more quickly than others. If you placed a bid and are no longer the highest bidder, chances are it is because someone else has placed a bid a fraction of a second after yours and, therefore, has become the new highest bidder. One way to verify is to look at the Bidding History on the right hand side of the Details Page. There you will find the last ten bids placed in that auction as well as the names of the members placing them. Should this not be the case and you are simply experiencing technical difficulties, please contact our Support Team and they'll be more than happy to help.

Can I bid on a future auction / How can I keep track of when an auction starts?

Due to the fact that the Future Auctions have not yet begun, it is impossible to place a bid on them. You can, however, click the REMIND button to keep track of when the auction becomes Live. To view the auctions you've set reminders for, click on My Reminders in the My Account page. You will receive an email notification and also get notified in the Beezar shortly before the auction begins.

Tips & Strategies

At Beezid, we've come up with a long list of tips, meant to help you get familiarized with our site, bidding and developping strategy. Some of these may help you tremendously when bidding but keep in mind, they do not provide any guarantees of winning an auction.

» Watch for a while and learn how things work.

» Check out auctions that have ended and look at pricing to determine a median price point, or expected sale price.

» The time of day is very important for getting the price you want and narrowing down the competition.

» Look for patterns on recent auctions.

» Picking your auction carefully is crucial to your success.

» Get comfortable with BEEZID.

» Read the FAQ's and watch the video tutorial.

» Place your bids using a certain strategy; bid early, late or always on top.

» Keep your eyes always focused on the countdown timer.

» Don't bid too late and miss out! (If you do, keep your eye open for that product again, it'll be back.)

» Set a realistic amount you are willing to pay for an item.

» Calculate your winning price so you never step over the line.

» Have a bidding budget and be smart with it.

» Bidding on one product at a time gives you greater power in this auction and you are more likely to end up being the winner than if you use your bids in various auctions.

» Every item on Beezid sells at rock bottom bargain prices, but it is better to start on some of the lower priced products and work your way up.

» Cheaper products tend to have fewer bidders and therefore are more likely to win. Once you get the hang of Beezid and develop your strategy, you're more likely to win the major items.

» Try to concentrate your bidding on one or a few items. Placing bids randomly is not a good strategy.

» When bidding from the Details page, look at the bidding history to see how many active users have bid on this item in the last 30 minutes.

» Don't use the AutoBeezid at first.

» Be careful when using the AutoBeezid function. Plan and execute the AutoBeezid strategy with care.

» The AutoBeezid is a powerful tool, not only does it allow you to place bids without sitting in front of the computer, but it unnerves the competition who keep seeing the AutoBeezid matching their bids one after the other. The AutoBeezid can often outsmart its opponents simply because they tire and give up on competing against it.

» Use the AutoBeezid to your advantage; leave it on at times when you are away from your PC. It is also a useful tool to exhaust the competition.

» When booking an AutoBeezid, think carefully about when to deploy your Sniper in order to make it count.

» Your Sniper can save you from losing an auction, use it wisely.

» There are better times to bid, and better days of the week to get better deals.

» Think about the time of day that you bid.

» The number of users online at any time changes a lot from minute to minute, hour to hour and day to day. Use this to your advantage.

» Realize that winning is all about good timing.

» Buy large Bid Packs and pay much less per bid.

» Having a large amount of bids in your account will ensure you don't run out of bids when you are in auction and miss out on getting the deal you were bidding on.

» Look for Bid Packs in 'Bid 4 Free' auctions. It costs nothing to bid and you will probably get a better deal than buying the pack out-right.

» W5 the competition. Follow certain users and take notes on who they are, when they bid, why they don't bid, what they bid on and where they are bidding.

» Watch the timer and bid in the last few seconds. If the counter seems continually to nearly reach zero before starting over, it usually means that there are not too many users bidding on that item and this gives you an edge by increasing your chances of winning.

» When you become more advanced, switch to our MEGAVIEW to view auctions. This will allow you to see the maximum amount of live auctions. In all views you can drag and tile each auction box to wherever you want, in any auction screen, so keep your interests together!

If you have some helpful tips that you'd like to see added to this list, feel free to contact our Support Team and let them know.

Winning an auction. What's next?

Congratulations on winning an auction!

You now have two simple steps to follow in order to complete the transaction and have the item shipped right to your door.

As soon as you win an auction, in the Details page, you'll notice that the timer has been replaced with a personalized message with a link to claim your prize. Clicking this link will redirect you to our Secure Checkout Area where we offer several options for you to pay for your item. In the event that you decide to keep bidding or simply logout without claiming your win, you'll be notified in your Beezar and we'll send you an email. To complete the transaction, just click the link in the email and we'll take you to your My Wins page. Please make sure to claim your item within 72 hours of winning the auction. Should you decide not to claim your item, for whatever reason, within 14 days for Regular auctions or 7 days for Bid For Free auctions, your auction win will automatically expire.
Categories / Available Auctions

At any given time, whether logged in or not, you can find the different auctions and how to view them by clicking on the Categories tab, located at the top of the page, underneath the four (4) main tabs at the top. The different ways for you to view the auctions are the following:

- Live Auctions: This is where the action is! Click on All Live Auctions to see all the auctions that are currently counting down and up for grabs.

- Closed Auctions: If you're interested in seeing what kind of savings other members like yourself have enjoyed, take a look at these auctions. You'll be able to see all the different products that have been won, the prices they went for and the winners' savings on the items.

- Future Auctions: If you're curious to know what auctions are coming up soon, click on Future Auctions to see what items have been added and when they begin. You can also set reminders on the future auctions for you to be notified when they begin. Keep in mind you cannot bid on a future auction until it becomes live.

- Easy View: This view refers to the long horizontal box that allows you to see more info without having to access the Details Page of the auction. By default, most of our auctions will appear in this view, such as Future Auctions, Ended Auctions and when choosing one of the Categories.

- Mega View: If you're an advanced user following multiple auctions, choose Mega View and a second page will open with dozens of auctions for you to follow, while still allowing you to return to the original page you were viewing. To exit the Mega View and return to your original page, simply click the X-CLOSE bar at the top of the page.

Drag & Drop - A great feature available in any of these views and everywhere else on the site where you see auctions is our exclusive Drag & Drop. This will allow you to customize the way you view the auctions by moving them around, allowing YOU to prioritize the auctions you want to keep focused on.

Pin the Auction – Whether viewing auctions in regular view, easy view, mega view or even in the details page of an auction, you'll notice a clickable pin. This icon allows you to keep track of auctions you'd like to add to your watch list. Once an auction is pinned, you can view it in two places:

1. In My Account -> Auctions ->My Watch List

2. Click on the Pin section in the Beezar located at the bottom of your screen. These auctions will remain pinned until they end or when you remove them from the list.
Auction Types

- Penny Auction: The name speaks for itself. During a penny auction, every time a bid is placed, the current price of the item goes up by one penny ($0.01).

- Reveal Auction: Beezid's exciting 'Reveal' auctions work on a descending price scale and include an option to buy the item once the price has hit its sweet spot.

Thriller Auction: This auction will keep you on the edge of your seat. During a Thriller auction, you won't be allowed to book any AUTOBEEZIDS. The only way to win is to place one bid at a time and keep watching.

Cherry Auction: A Cherry auction is reserved for users who have not yet had the chance to win an auction. As soon as you win your first auction, Cherry auctions will no longer be available for you to bid on and will become invisible to you. To find out more about Cherry auctions, check out the video tutorial.

Bid For Free: This auction type is available to users who have already completed their first Bid Pack purchase. The way it works is that any bids placed on this auction are free of charge so your bid balance will never go down. The winner has the right to buy the product for the auction closing price, plus the usual shipping and handling, where applicable. If you have won more than one Bid For Free auction, they must be claimed in order to have the ability to bid on another Bid For Free auction. Remember, once you win a Bid For Free auction, you will have 7 days to claim it before it expires. Please note that AutoBeezids are not allowed for the "Bid For Free" auctions.

Auction Reminders

This feature is only available for Future auctions. Once you've decided which items you want to follow, click on the 'REMIND' button. If at any point you'd like to review the auctions with set reminders, go to My Account -> Auctions -> select My Reminders. To ensure that you don't miss out on a future auction you want to bid on, clicking the Reminder button will also provide you with an automatic notification, on your Beezar and by email, one hour before the auction starts, as well as 5 minutes before it's about to begin. You can edit these settings in My Reminders.
I have a bonus code, how do I use it?

Beezid advertises on TV, radio, online, in print and in other various formats. In each there is a bonus code associated with the ad. If you did not receive a bonus code, please contact our Support Team and we'll be happy to take care of you. When registering, you will notice a field to enter and validate your bonus code, located right in the middle of the page. Enter your code in this field and your bonus bids or auction discount will automatically be dropped into your account, as soon as your registration is complete. If you still require additional assistance, or if you experience an issue with your bonus code, contact our Support Team and we'll be glad to help you.
Current Price vs. Retail Price

The Current Price is the price of the item right now based on the auction activity. In any auction type except the Reveal, this price will increase with each bid. In a Reveal auction, this price will decrease with each bid.

The Retail Price is provided by our suppliers as the manufacturer's suggested retail price. It is an indication of what these items would cost if you purchased them anywhere else.
When does a 'live auction' become a 'closed auction'?

An auction ends as soon as the timer runs out and reaches zero. In a Reveal auction, it will end when a member chooses the 'Buy Now' option to purchase the item.
Auction Limits

At Beezid, we always do our best to ensure that each one of our members has an equal opportunity to become one of our lucky winners and that not only a limited few keep winning. One way to make sure of this is by limiting the number of auctions a user can win within a 28 day period to ten (10). As well, certain products have their own limits based on the Auction Group they belong to. To make it easy, each group is represented by a colored Lock.

Can I bid on as many auctions as I want?

The general rule, of winning a maximum of ten auctions within 28 days, means that although you have a cap on the amount of auctions you can win, you can still strategically bid on more auctions than you are actually permitted to win in order to increase your possibilities of reaching an increasingly successful outcome, as long as when you have placed the bids, you haven't reached your cap. For example: you have 3 auctions left in your cap, you can bid on more than three auctions until you reach your cap. Should you be the highest bidder in more auctions than you have left to win, Beezid will allow you to purchase the items you have won in auctions. Once you have reached your cap, you will no longer be able to bid on items with auction limitations. As a reminder, once you've won 7 auctions within a 28 day period, you will receive an alert message on your Beezar.

Remember, as soon as you win an auction, one of those ten auction spots becomes unavailable for 28 days. Once the 28 days are up, that auction spot frees itself up for more bidding. In the event that you've reached your monthly cap, we also have an auction group that does not have limitations so there is still plenty of action to choose from.

For a more detailed view of your limits, including the auctions you've won, click on the My Account tab -> Auctions -> My Auction Limits.

Item Substitution Policy

Although rare, some auctions can go on for an extended period of time and during that time, our suppliers might discontinue the item in auction. Rest assured that should you be the winner of this auction, you will be notified of any changes and Beezid will replace the item for one of equal or greater value. If this is not acceptable to you, please contact our Support Team and we will take care of this rare but possible scenario. Our priority at Beezid is your continued satisfaction.
Shipping Costs

All of our shipping costs appear at the bottom of each Auction Details page and are for delivery within the U.S. and Canada. Some shipping conditions and/or additional costs may apply if the delivery address is located in outlying regions of Canada or the continental United States. For international users, shipping charges will be calculated based on location and will be provided to you once the auction is won. For more on shipping, contact our Support Team.
Where does Beezid ship to?

Beezid will ship anywhere in the world. Occasionally there will be conditions on your shipping rate depending on your location. If you are outside of the continental U.S. and Canada, contact our Support Team for shipping rates to your country.
Estimated Delivery Time

Most of our items are shipped directly from our suppliers as soon as we’ve received your payment. Although the delivery time can vary based on the products, most of them will take between 2-3 weeks to get there. As soon as your item has been shipped, we will notify you by email. In the rare event that you have not received your item after the normal delay, please contact our support team and we will immediately take care of getting your item to your doorstep. Our priority at Beezid is your continued satisfaction.
How do I track my item?

If, at any point, you’d like to find out the status of your item, contact our Support Team and we will take care of tracking it for you. Make sure you include your full name, Username and Auction ID when contacting us.
Are there warranties on the items being auctioned?

All of the items being auctioned at Beezid are brand new and come with a standard manufacturer's warranty. The only items that come without a warranty would be special events, memorabilia, cruises, Bid Packs and others identified as such in the Details page for that auction. Should you require further assistance regarding specific items, please contact our Support Team and we will be happy to assist you.
If I've received defective goods, what should I do?

Beezid is happy to help. Our goal is to make sure that you receive exactly what you won in auction, brand new, with a full warranty and shipped directly to your doorstep. Occasionally, a shipping mishap could lead to a damaged item. Contact our Support Team right away and cite your username, tracking number and any other information relevant to your item. We will take care of picking up the item from you and express shipping it to our warehouse facilities. After an inspection, we will contact you with the results. If the item is indeed defective, we will immediately ship you out a replacement item of equal or higher quality. Your satisfaction is one of our many goals here at Beezid. If you require further assistance, please contact our Support Team.
Am I able to return an item that I won?

Once you win an auction, you will be contacted by email. If you decide you no longer want the item, contact our Support Team and we will be more than happy to help you. Make sure you include your username, the auction ID of the won item, reason for the return and anything else that may be relevant to your situation with this specific auction. Please note that upon returning the item, we offer a refund for the final auction price of the won item as well as the original shipping costs. The cost of any bids spent on the auction as well as return shipping costs are non-refundable. Our job at Beezid is to keep you happy and we take our work very seriously. If you require further assistance on this topic, you can contact our Support Team.
Am I able to get a refund on an item that I won?

Beezid is happy to help. Our goal is to make sure that you are happy with the item you won. If you decide that you no longer want the item within 10 days of delivery, we will gladly provide you with a refund of the final auction price of the won item as well as the original shipping costs. The cost of the bids placed on the auction as well as return shipping costs are non-refundable. The item must be undamaged and returned in its original packaging. Upon returning an item, please contact our Support Team. Be sure to include your Username, Auction ID and anything else that may be relevant to your situation with this specific auction.

AutoBeezid & Beezid Sniper

Beezid is proud to offer our users the ability to automatically bid on auctions that you are interested in; in the price range that you want to pay for an item while you are away from Beezid.com or have your attention on something else. The Autobeezid feature assists you in implementing additional strategies by programming the AutoBeezid's software to out-bid your opponents and achieve a higher success rate in getting the products that you want, and at the price that you are willing to pay.

For example; let's say you set your Autobeezid to bid on a digital camera. You will have to select the amount of bids to be placed as well as the price range. So you set your price range between $3.00 and $4.00, with 25 bids. What will happen is that if the price range is achieved, your Autobeezid will continuously outbid any bids to ensure that you are the highest bidder. The more bids you apply to your Autobeezid, the more you will be the highest bidder of the auction, thus increasing the possibility of you winning the auction. The Autobeezid will not try to out-bid itself, so as long as you are the highest bidder, the Autobeezid will not bid again. Now let's say that your starting price range of $3.00 is not met.

The Autobeezid will allow you to set up to twenty (20) separate bids into your Beezid Sniper account. If the auction is about to end and the price is still below your starting price for your Autobeezid to kick in, the Beezid Sniper will wait until the final second of the auction and place a single bid, resetting the timer. This will prolong the auction and hopefully, if you haven't set your Autobeezid's price range too high, will increase the possibility of the auction getting to your price range where your Autobeezid will take over.
If your price range is achieved before your Beezid Sniper is used, you will no longer be able to use the Beezid Sniper. So, keep in mind; once the price range you set has been achieved, the Beezid Sniper will be disabled.

The key to using the Autobeezid and the Beezid Sniper strategically is to have the right balance between the amount of bids you are willing to apply to the Autobeezid as well as the right price range.
If your price range is set unreasonably high, you will undoubtedly waste up to five bids from your Beezid Sniper and your Autobeezid will never have the opportunity to kick in. If you set your price range too low, you will run the risk of wasting your bids because the Autobeezid will be battling against a higher amount of users due to the deal being extremely good. The right strategy to use is to set a price that the item generally goes for, widen the gap in that price range to get your opening price right at the fringe of where users drop off. Your Beezid Sniper will save you from missing out on the deal if it's about to end before your price range kicks in, but you must set your Autobeezid right around the right price or your Beezid Sniper will be useless. Our advice in learning how to do this properly is to set up your Autobeezid and your Beezid Sniper before an auction begins and watch the auction. Once you are comfortable, you can try different combination strategies; for example: If the deal is fantastic and you see the auction is about to end, try placing a bid at 2 seconds so that you don't use a Beezid Sniper. Being a live bidder with your Autobeezid set to take over will also allow you to narrow your price range that your Autobeezid is set to kick in and it will also save you on wasting Beezid Sniper bids.

There are multiple strategies to implement here at Beezid.com and we encourage you to use your intelligence to out-smart your opponents. This will assure you a higher level of success. However you decide to go after your items, make sure that you are prepared. For more on strategies check your home page.

Information security and protecting your privacy are fundamental to the way we do business at Beezid. All of our employees are aware of the procedures that must be taken to safeguard customer information. Beezid's Privacy Policy sets out our commitment to you to protect your information.
Protect yourself from Online Fraud.

Online fraud includes phishing, which is a scam where the perpetrator sends out authentic-looking emails appearing to come from a legitimate company in an effort to phish for personal and financial information from the email recipient. If you receive one of these emails from what appears to be Beezid, forward the email to our Support Team so we can get to the bottom of it right away and inform you whether or not it is authentic.

If you receive a suspicious message that you think may be a phishing email, remember:

  • Do not provide personal or financial information to anyone in an email. We will never ask for your banking information to pay for anything through an email. Any payments for bids or items are always made directly on our site.
  • Be suspicious of email attachments and clickable links from unknown sources. If you do not know or recognize the sender of the email, do not open the attachment or click on the link. A link in a phishing email will take you to a fraudulent website designed to look genuine.
  • Do not be fooled by warnings about "account changes" or "security threats". The people who send phishing emails will often make claims like these to frighten you into disclosing personal information to resolve the supposed threat.
  • Do not be tricked by offers of money or free bids. We will always post your bonus offers in your My Bonus Offers tab, located in your My Account page.
  • Do not set your email program to "auto-run" attachments. Always check that emails you have received do not contain viruses by running your anti-virus software when the email attachment is received.
If you are concerned that you have received a fraudulent email, disclosed any confidential information, or if you have any concerns about security, please contact our Support Team without further delay. Remember, we will always include your Customer ID and Email ID, information that is exclusive to your account which you wouldn't find in the fraudulent emails.

Protect your Password

Your password is your key to accessing your Beezid account. Employees at Beezid will never ask you for your password by email or any other type of communication.

Remember:

  • Choose unique passwords that you can remember so that you do not have to write them down. A combination of letters and numbers should be used for better protection.
  • Never disclose your password(s) to anyone, especially online, not even to the police, your financial institution or your Internet Service Provider. Not even to us.
  • Do not use passwords that are easy for others to guess such as birthdays, family names or telephone numbers.
  • Ensure that AutoComplete or other memorized password functions on your browser are disabled.
  • Saving passwords on your computer, on the Internet or on any software is not a good idea. It allows anyone with access to that information the ability to potentially impersonate you.
  • Change your password every 90 days, to help protect the security of your information.

If you believe that your password has been compromised, you should change it immediately and contact our Support Team.
Protect your wireless connection.

If you use a wireless connection, additional steps should be taken to protect your Internet Connection.

Most wireless networks are completely unprotected when you first set them up. However, in just a few minutes, you can protect your wireless network by using the same method banks use to protect your password when you log on to their Web sites: encryption. Encryption scrambles data on your wireless network so that only computers that have the encryption key can read your communications. Even though one type of encryption may be better than another, any type will dramatically improve your network's security by making you a more difficult target.

Issues with the confirmation email link.

Depending on the email provider that you're using, it can take a few minutes longer to receive the confirmation email. You should verify the address you provided us when you registered to make sure that it's accurate. Occasionally, some email services have a filter. Check your Spam folder as you may have to add the address to your Safe List.

Although rare, some members may experience difficulties when clicking the link in the confirmation email to complete the registration process. When this happens, simply copy the entire link into the address bar of your browser and hit ENTER. In most cases, these solutions should fix the problem, however, if any of these issues still persisit, please contact our Support Team and we'll be more than happy to help.

What happens if the site is down for maintenance?

At Beezid, we always do our very best to make sure that your experience on our website goes uninterrupted. There are, however, exceptions that may occur on rare occasions due to conditions that are not within our control such as unforeseeable problems with the internet, major power outages or a natural disaster. Rest assured that we will take the necessary measures to ensure a speedy recovery and minimize the downtime.

Any bids placed while we are offline will not be debited from your account nor will they count towards the auction. If we experience downtime at any point, we automatically reset the timers when the auctions start up again to allow our bidders to get back in the action. If this situation occurs, the best way to keep track is to refresh your screen regularly, either by pressing F5 or by clicking the refresh button on your browser.

I placed a bid that hasn't registered. What does this mean?

Seeing as many websites today rely on the speed of your internet connection, occasionally, you may experience a 'network bottleneck'. What this means is that there is a delay in the transfer of data between your computer and our servers, created by single parts of the internet connection being overloaded. This is the most common cause of that rare scenario where you've placed a bid right before the timer counts down to 0:00 (zero) and your bid doesn't make it in time to count in the auction.

If this happens to you, there are different options available to avoid them in the future such as using the AUTOBEEZID or SNIPER features, or bidding a few seconds before the timer runs out. You can also consider using one of the following helpful tips to avoid any internet delays:
  1. Try to avoid downloading large files such as video, audio while you're bidding on Beezid.
  2. Verify if other people in your house/office are using the internet while you're bidding on Beezid.
  3. Try to avoid sending emails containing large attachments while bidding on Beezid.
  4. Try to keep the number of open browser windows to a minimum while bidding on Beezid.
